7  Foods That Will Suck Your Sex Drive + Fun Food Sex Drive Boosters

If you missed the couple of scenario’s from last week on how what we eat affects our date/sexy time you can check it out here first.

What we eat day to day has a serious affect on how we feel day to day.

Food has this amazing ability to fuel and energize us…even to turn us on!  Food also has the capability of sucking our energy and draining our sex drive.  It can make us feel bloated, congested, dazed and totally not sexy.

Obviously there are many factors that go into how we feel day to day (stress, if we love/hate our work, hormones, sleep patterns, love, etc.) but if you are finding that your energy and sex drive levels are a little low you may want to explore what you are eating.

I have compiled some notorious Sex Drive Suckers and some of my favorite Sex Drive Boosters.

  • Bread

  • Almonds & Pumpkin Seeds
  • Avocado
  • Figs
  • Oysters
  • Vanilla
  • Chocolate/Raw Cacao
  • Strawberries
  • Honey
  • Lots of Water
  • Balanced Diet with Greens & Vegetables
  • Wonderful Herbs (Maca, Damiana, Garlic, Muira Puama, Fo Ti, Horny Goat Weed, Ginseng, Nutmeg)

In addition to balancing hormones and boosting your energy with healthy foods and herbs, another big factor is the quality and quantity of the food you are in-taking  – too much of a good thing isn’t always good.

Honor your body and what feels good to you – there isn’t a universal diet that works for everyone (although that’d be nice sometimes!) but there are definitely some great general lifestyle/nutrition changes to try and see what works for you.

Your libido (especially as a woman) has so many underlying factors that affect it.  If you are finding that applying these dietary changes and getting a good sleep isn’t quite cutting it in the sexy time department then there are probably deeper things that need to be worked through.
